- You can complete your in-person Private, Instrument, and Commercial ratings under Part 141 at High Flight Academy at the Pittsburgh-Butler Airport.
- Students enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester are eligible for Pell Grants, State and Federal loans.
- Cost of Education Living Allowance financial aid can be used to pay for housing at a convenient location near the Pittsburgh-Butler airport.
Liberty University
Liberty University online aviation school offers the unique opportunity to pursue a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in aviation. This exclusive partnership with High Flight Academy provides students with the required education and flight training necessary to start their professional pilot career. PennWest University (California – Clarion – Edinboro)
PennWest University Group’s exclusive partnership with High Flight Academy offers students an online 16-month associate degree in aeronautical science. While completing the online degree, students can complete all required flight training necessary to start their professional pilot career. Student financing is available
Community College
High Flight Academy is a flight training partner for both the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) and Community College of Beaver County (CCBC). Students can take advantage of our fleet of aircraft and quality instructors to quickly build the necessary flight time while attending classes. High Flight Academy will provide you with an open flight training schedule to accelerate your aviation career. As with the other degree programs, student financing is available for these two offerings as well.
