High Flight Academy is seeking high qualified, certified flight instructors who are driven and dedicated to providing the highest quality flight training. As a flight instructor, you would be responsible for teaching students how to fly using various methods including textbook education, a flight simulator and live flight training.
Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction in the classroom, simulator and live.
•Develop in-classroom curricula and new teaching methods.
•Train students in aviation subjects including aircraft systems, operating procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio operation and aerodynamics.
Regularly schedule assigned students to ensure successful progress through the flight course.
•Accurately maintain appropriate student records and report on student progress.
•Meet with potential customers, conduct tours and introductory meetings.
•Monitor the maintenance condition of the training aircraft and report any findings.
•Maintain a minimum 80 percent pass rate.
Requirements:
•FAA Certified Flight Instructor SEL Certified (CF II preferred but not mandatory)
•Current FAA Medical Certificate 3rd Class
•Pass drug and alcohol testing.
•Strong customer service skills.
•Exceptional oral communication and presentation skills.
